You can now also enjoy alfresco dining in our pretty Inside Out Courtyard. There is also the option to choose a lighter bite from the Casual Dining Menu which can be enjoyed in the relaxation of one of our lounges or perhaps in the Jacobean Maids Head Bar.

Our Winepress Restaurant has recently been completely refurbished and guests have the option of choosing from our a la carte menu or tasting menu where the dishes have been expertly paired with complementary wines. Or choose our highly popular Traditional Sunday Lunch which can be enjoyed with family and friends. For a little indulgence, try our award winning Afterno on Tea which can be enjoyed either in the comfort of one of our lounges or in the WinePress Restaurant. An inn has operated on the Maids Head site since the 13th century and the original inn was called the Molde Fish or Murtel Fish Tavern.

The name the Maids Head gets its first public mention on 22 November in a Paston Letter , when John Paston recommends the inn as a good place to stable your horse.
